There are hundreds of types of pipe, fittings and joining methods now available which are suitable for plumbing and hydronic heating and cooling systems. They range from traditional materials and methods, such as solder copper tubing, to modern materials and methods such as socket fusion of polyethylene pipe.
The 26th edition of idronics discusses classic and contemporary methods of joining piping in hydronic and plumbing applications. The intent is to equip designers and installers with information that helps them select pipe joining systems that are proven effective, with emphasis on modern methods that simplify and speed installation.
